It is our hope that our kids classes and nurseries would be able to resume in August with taking necessary precautions, adopting protocols, making changes to classroom layouts, etc. We are keeping up to date with local schools' decisions and the advice of public health officials. Our plans are tentative. However, if we were to resume classes and nurseries, it would only be possible with you and your willingness to jump back in to volunteer and teach.
As you know, COVID-19 poses additional threats to certain groups of people, those that are 65 and older, those that have pre-existing health conditions, etc. While it is our hope that these concerns for our vulnerable groups will only be for a limited time, we would like to curb their risk by asking people in non-vulnerable groups to serve more regularly. If you do not usually volunteer in certain children's areas but are not in a vulnerable group, please consider serving for a limited time while we face the challenges of COVID-19.
Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions so that we can make decisions about when to resume classes and nurseries here at Hunter Hills. Thank you!
